The WP7702 smart module for Cat-M1/NB1 worldwide networks is fully compliant with the 3GPP Release 13 standard. It provides a low-cost, low-power technology for low-bandwidth IoT applications with extended reach beyond traditional cellular. This module is ideal for real-time fixed or mobile applications such as consumer wearables, health monitoring devices, tracking devices, and smart home and smart city devices. Providing the intelligence in field deployed devices, the WP7702 incorporates an ARM Cortex-A7 applications processor running at 1.3GHz. This hosts Semtech’s legato linux environment, facilitating the development of sophisticated edge applications, deployable over the air.
