Assembly Instructions For The PiloT Raspberry Pi IoT Hat
Step By Step Instructions
Easy to follow graphical instructions to assemble the Pilot for Raspberry Pi IoT hat.

Total Time Needed: 30 minutes
Required Tools:
- A #1 Pozidriv screwdriver
Things Needed?
- A Linkwave PiloT included in kit.
- A Raspberry Pi V2, 3, or 4 not included in kit.
- A SIM Card not included in kit.
- A right angle SMA 4G stub antenna or similar not included in kit
- A Micr-USB to USB cable included in kit
Assembly Steps:
Step 1 :
Gently push the 40-way pins all the way through the holes in the socket as shown.

Step 2 :
Remove screws from the mounting pillars.

Step 3 :
Screw the right-angled stub antenna on the SMA WAN antenna connector located next to the 40-way pin header.

Step 4 :
Align the 40-way socket with the 40-way pin header on the Raspberry Pi.

Step 5 :
Gently press together.

Step 6 :
Ensure the PiloT is securely mounted on the Raspberry Pi by inserting the 4 screws (see step 2) into the holes at the bottom of the Raspberry Pi. Gently tighten using a #1 Pozidriv screwdriver.

Step 7 :
Insert the SIM card into the SIM holder, ensuring the chamfer is located as shown in the photo, and the contact surface is face down.

Step 8 :
Insert the USB end of the cable into the top center USB on the Raspberry Pi.

Step 9 :
Insert the Micro-USB side of the cable into the USB socket located above the USB socket.

Step 10 :
Our PiloT is now ready to be powered up.
